Confident Humility | Week 5

This week, we were challenged to look at the relationship between Anointed Authority and Confident Humility. Lead Pastor Jim Burgen pointed out they go hand in hand. If you're going to have authority without being a tyrant, you need Confident Humility. If you're going to humbly serve, without abdicating the responsibilities of your leadership, you need Anointed Authority. A powerful example of what this looked like in the life of Jesus was when He washed the disciples' feet. When Anointed Authority and Confident Humility are used together in our lives, we begin building better stories and step into who God created us to be.
